I love encouraging confidence, curiosity and independence in children. I am passionate In leading educators and children in a positive manner. Outside of work I enjoy hiking and reading.

SHAUNA NIEVES-YOUNG POW
I'm a Level 1 ECE with 3 years of experience working with 3-12-year-olds. I am working to obtain my degree to teach math to 4th-6th graders. I'm from Trinidad and Tobago, and have been moving around my whole life, so I love to travel and experience new things! I recently got a puppy, she is a corgipoo!

I'm an Educator here at Juvenescence. I have 2 years of experience working with kids ages 7-15. I am from Langdon and have spent the previous 2 summers as a camp counsellor. I attend the University of Calgary in a concurrent education program, with the end goal of being a special education teacher.

As a mom to a 7-year-old, I understand how important it is for children to feel safe, supported, and valued. I'm excited to begin this new chapter in my career and I look forward to being a part of each child's learning journey.
