Meet the Director

Laura Smetenikov

 I have been in childcare since 2005 and started at Juvenescence in 2014 when I moved here from Winnipeg. I have loved every minute of it. I am a mother of 2 beautiful girls. I would be described as a fun, high energy and a constantly laughing type person, I always find the humor in everyday events.

Ashley salazar

I am a Level 1 E.C.E. I have 7 years of experience with children ages 3-12 years old. I was born & raised in Calgary. I have a bachelors degree in History & I'm currently working towards my Education degree to become a teacher. My hobbies include; hiking, puzzles, basketball & pickleball.

 I have worked for Juvenescence before when I was 18. I have my level one and will be going to Cranston.  I am planning on going to school to complete my levels two and three. I am a Mom of two. I also just got married.  Something fun about me would be I was born and raised in Nova Scotia.

 I worked at a school setting when I was 17 as a social service internship, I've been fascinated by the educational field ever since and I'd love to pursue a career related to teaching children!

My interests involve linguistics, books,

learning new languages and craft activities such as crochet and knitting.

I am a graduate in economics. After working in many fields, I decided to work in the most amazing place, which is working with children!

I chose childcare because my goal is to become an elementary teacher. In my free time; I like to watch movies, play video games & spend time with friends and have fun!

I was born and raised in Saudi Arabia and recently moved to Calgary. I am a Level 1 E.C.E. I have a Masters in Science and was working as an elementary teacher. I have 3 years of experience working with children ages 5 to 9. I actively listen to children and provide a safe and supportive environment. I love traveling and baking.
